Seven Physicians and Nurses from Yamanashi Prefectural Central Hospital and National Hospital Organization Kyushu Medical Center Begin Mentor Training

Yamanashi Prefectural Central Hospital (Kofu, Yamanashi) and National Hospital Organization Kyushu Medical Center (Fukuoka, Fukuoka) have started the implementation of the Close Collaboration with Parents training!
Following Tokyo Metropolitan Bokutoh Hospital, Tokyo Metropolitan Children’s Medical Center, and Kyoto University Hospital, they are the 4th and 5th hospitals in Japan to begin the training program.
In September and October 2026, a total of 7 physicians and nurses who will serve as mentors visited Nagano Children’s Hospital and completed a five-day mentor training program. Congratulations to everyone on completing the training!
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the babies and families who supported the training, as well as to all the NICU staff members who contributed to the training.
The 7 new mentor candidates will continue to deepen their learning through ongoing training at their own hospitals and remote reflection sessions.
