Mentor Training at the Tokyo Metropolitan Children’s Medical Center Has Been Completed!

The mentor training for the CC (Close Collaboration with Parents) training program at the Tokyo Metropolitan Children’s Medical Center in Fuchu, Tokyo, was successfully completed on February 27, 2026.

Approximately 40 training sessions were conducted over five days in late February. Through meaningful engagement with families, including parents, we gained invaluable insights and were given the opportunity to reflect together on what is best for each infant and family.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the families who kindly participated in the training, to the mentors, and to everyone who has supported this implementation.

Over the next approximately two years, the mentors at the Tokyo Metropolitan Children’s Medical Center will continue to provide training to other staff members. We hope that the training will progress smoothly and contribute to fostering an even more supportive culture within the ward and the institution.
